This is an abstract painting that show a social critique about the injustice disorder and corruption of that period in our country. 
This piece of art was painted by Jose Clemente Orozco, this picture was painted 74 years ago, but it looks not to old.



El tormento de cuauhtemoc




this portrait was pinted by David Alfaro Siqueiros, this portrait was painted 63 years ago and this painted reprecent the moment when the soldiers burn he's feets beacuse they wanted to know where was the treasure and he doesn't show pain.









Dream of a Sunday Afternoon in Alameda Park was painted by Diego Rivera. This picture was painted 66 years ago, but it looks very classical. And this picture you can see characters of history of Mexico like Francisco I. Madero, Benito Juárez, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Porfirio Díaz, Agustín de Iturbide, Ignacio Manuel Altamirano, Maximiliano I de Habsburgo, Carlota, Fray Juan de Zumárraga, Diego Rivera (niño), Frida Kahlo, La Catrina, Antonio López de Santa Anna, Winfield Scott, Victoriano Huerta, Hernán Cortés and other ones.
This picture was shown scenes of the conquest by Spanish when arrived Mexico; you can see other part of history of Mexico for example the picture was appeared U.S. invasion by Winfield Scott.
Dream of a Sunday afternoon is recognized as a symbol of period history of Mexico.
The picture includes about 150 family portraits and historical, it is not an official history work or socialist realism, but a collage of characters evoked by the painter.


Las Dos Fridas




This piece of Mexican art was painted by Frida Khalo one of the most famous mexican women in the world. This portrait was painted in 1939.
Shortly after her divorce from Diego Rivera, Frida completed this self-portrait of two different personalities.
In 1947, this painting was purchased by the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (National Institute of Fine Arts) in Mexico City.
This double self-portrait was the first large-scale work painted by Frida
